We set off to see the yacht Athos which is moored up in view of our window. What a gorgeous boat. "The largest two mast schooner ever built". I bet Jesus is really jealous.
I have never been to North Africa but why bother?
When we emerge the cable car is stationary for several minutes! Will this turn into a cliff hanger (literally) or will they all escape with their lives? Yes - it starts up very shortly afterwards.
This is Copabino beach which is normally swarming with naked ladies. Or more accurately, naked guys looking for naked
ladies who have very wisely stayed at home. Today the temperature is about 75^ Fahrenheit so only the hardiest souls
are out and about.
Later we go to Puerto Banus where we find a much cheaper car park - 5c per minute. All we need now is a cheap cafe.
Home made chicken soup! Can you believe it?
We explore Algeciras which has some quite pleasant spots - a park and a big archeological dig in the middle. We try to get on to a spectacular bridge but it turns out to have restricted access. We get back just as the sun is going down.
The sun is shining and we drive to Marbella. Parking is easy as what would be a brilliant July day in the UK is considered to be close to freezing by the natives.
